Reading
  1. Read the rest of chapter 1. If you like, you can listen to it. You can listen to it read to you while you read along in the book. Click on chapter 1 from the list on the right.

Do bible and science together with Mom

Bible
    Read Mark 2:1-17.
*  How did the men get their friend to Jesus in order to be healed?  (answer: The put a hole in the roof and lowered him down.)
  • Do you think they fixed it afterwards?

  • Jesus showed them He had the power to forgive sins by doing what?  (answer: telling the man to get up and walk — It would have been meaningless if the man hadn’t been healed.)
  • Who did Jesus come to save?  (answer: sinners)

  • Of course, this means Jesus came to save everyone because we were all born human, meaning we are all sinners until Jesus saves us. The Pharisees didn’t see themselves as sinners, though Jesus considers them some of the biggest sinners.

    * Watch complementary colors. Make sure you do watch
    * Do this complementary colors project. Follow the directions. Color in the circles in a pattern: green, blue, violet. Trace and color your and the colors that complement each circle. The page lists different mediums you can use. You can use paints if you like, but you can also use crayons. There are others listed as well. Use the sheet printed in your folder.
